The Scales Of The American Experiment (9/1/12)
First – the oath of enlistment I took 9 September, 1982:
I, Michael Berryman Smith, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.
I still stand by this oath.
While many people, (friends of mine) want to bitch and moan and belabor the short comings of our Party, the Republican Party and how the end of the Republican party is upon us, the grassroots was screwed yada yada yada… let’s reflect a moment on the alternative: Barack Hussein Obama.
For all the Republican Parties shortcomings, and we all agree there are some, it is a far better place that Gov. Mitt Romney and Congressman Paul Ryan should win on November 6th 2012 than should Barack Hussein Obama and Joe Biden. Why you ask?
Well let’s start with his associations:
Obama throughout his life and administration has surrounded himself with and/or appointed folks such as Communications Director Anita Dunn an admitted follower of Maoist communist ideology, FCC Diversity Czar Mark Lloyd who praised Venezuelan socialist dictator Hugo Chavez and commended his seizure and control of the media, manufacturing czar Ron Bloom who called the free market “nonsense” and said, “We kind of agree with Mao” and who can forget former Green Jobs Czar Van Jones, who is an admitted communist. There is his association with Andrew Stern, who has a propensity to say things like:
And we are beginning. We have offices now in Australia and Switzerland and London and South America and Africa. We’ve been working with unions around the world. And what we’re working towards is building a global organization because “Workers of the world unite!” — it’s not just a slogan anymore. It’s a way we’re going to have to do our work.
and
We’re trying to use the power of persuasion. And if that doesn’t work, we’re going to use the persuasion of power because there are governments and there are opportunities to change laws that affect these companies. And I’m not naive. We’re ready to strike.
and
There are opportunities in America to share better in the wealth, to re-balance the power. And unions and government are part of the solution.
There is no doubt that Obama has the same ideology as Stern regarding spreading the wealth around, after all, he is already on the record telling Joe the Plumber that I believe we need to spread the wealth around. And more recently another look into his heart:
If you’ve got a business. you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.
Then there is the undeniable truth that Obama was a self-signed member of the “New Party” as a candidate for State Senate in the 13th Legislative District. He gave a statement to the membership and answered questions. He signed the New Party “Candidate Contract” and requested an endorsement from the New Party..
In the autobiography “Dreams of my Father” Obama wrote
To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist Professors and the structural feminists and punk-rock performance poets.
He has had very intimate relationships with Jeremiah Wright the Black Liberation Theology Pastor which preaches socialism, Bill Ayers, the terrorist who embraces Marxism, George Soros, who was a NAZI collaborator in his youth (and before anyone goes wacko of NAZISM, lest we forget, Nazi’s are Socialist – hence the National Socialist German Workers Party.
I could write for hours on the known associations, and remarks that Barack Hussein Obama has, or has said himself, but in the interest of an easy read, this should suffice to show that Obama holds true to the Cloward-Piven’s strategy which is a Marxist plan that calls for the destruction of capitalism in America by swelling the welfare rolls to the point of collapsing our economy and then implementing socialism by nationalizing many private institutions.
Taking this all into account and looking at the last nearly 4 years of Obama’s dictatorship of usurping our Constitution, imposing a National Healthcare, his appointments, his attempts at lessening the American footprint on the world and the facts that we have the largest welfare rolls at anytime in our history, more people unemployed that at anytime in our history 3 consecutive deficits in excess of 1 trillion dollars, out of control spending, ever increasing regulation, EPA intrusion in our lives, government controlling private business, and a list that goes on and on.
So the fact is no matter how bad the Republican Party is – it is far better than the road that this President is taking us down.
If you want to salvage our country, if you want to have the opportunity to improve the situation and then start the long and tedious task of rebuilding our party – I suggest you think about this and think hard on November 6th when you cast your vote. A vote for ANYONE other than Gov. Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan is a vote for Obama and if this perfidious traitor to our way of life wins a second term what was it he told Dimtry Medvedev:
On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this can be solved but it’s important for [Vladimir Putin] to give me space… This is my last election. After my election, I have more flexibility.
That flexibility just may be the end of America, as we know it.
With all that said, here is my statement moving forward on all social media outlets:
I don’t care who you supported, I don’t care what your stripes are – I respect your opinions and you as an individual all I request is you respect mine. To all my friends that are Paul supporters, we have always had a cordial and pleasant relationship over the last year. I would like for it to stay that way
I understand you are mad as hell and I understand why – let us not forget my Candidate did not win the nomination either. That all said – Allow me to tell you a little about me at this point. I am nearly 50 years old. I still believe in our Country and our system of primaries and elections. Therefore, I no longer have time to sift through BULLSHIT responses about how the country is going to hell, it’s over, etc etc etc… I have a wife, 4 kids and 1 grandchild, and I wish for them to have some semblance of the America I had growing up therefore: As of TODAY
Barack Hussein Obama is in my book an enemy of America and as the oath I took on 9 September 1982 was relevant then, it is still so now – I am no longer just voting against Obama. I am going to vote for Mitt Romney, I am going to embrace Mitt Romney and I am going to steam back up my grassroots efforts for Mitt Romney – if this is an issue for you or a source of contention for you – I invite you to un-friend me now. It will not hurt my feelings. I use Facebook, Twitter or my radio show and as a means to convey news, messages and calls to action to like minded individuals and that is really all. I have forged good and fruitful relationships with everyone on here AND – I do not like to be rude and I enjoy allowing ALL my friends, whatever their stripes expressing themselves on anything I post.
I am not going to tolerate obtuse remarks. I will remove and de-friend you if you do this. I have nearly 700 friends on FaceBook, 1000 on Twitter and untold numbers on my Radio Shows and Blog.
If this is a problem for you – and/or if you cannot respect me and my friends that are doing the best we can for the Country we love, then I am respectfully asking you to keep your obtuse remarks to yourself or simply do not respond.
