Carl or "Hig", was born and raised in Greenwich, CT. After 9/11/01 he dropped out of Sacred Heart University to join the Navy and became a SEAL. Carl did two combat deployments to Iraq and then served as a SEAL instructor. While still on active duty, Carl published his first book "Battle on the Home Front" and was subsequently forced to resign by the Obama administration. He now owns two businesses in Virginia and is developing a third in Connecticut. 

Since Leaving active duty, Carl has spoken at more than two dozen conservative movement events, made multiple appearances on Fox News and helped set up a program to recruit, train, and prepare young men who want to become Navy SEAL's. While Carl hates politics, he recognizes that it is the only avenue to change the course of this country, Carl intends to make a run in the near future.
